MagneGas Continues Momentum With Second Strategic Fuel Partner

Major Acetylene Manufacturer in Southeastern U.S. to Begin Transition to MagneGas™

TAMPA, FL--(Marketwire - Apr 27, 2011) - MagneGas Corporation ("MagneGas" or the "Company") (OTCBB: MNGA), the producer of a technology that converts liquid waste into a hydrogen-based metal working fuel and natural gas alternative, announced today that it has begun selling MagneGas™ fuel to Alabama-based J & M Cylinder Gases ("J & M"). J & M is one of the largest independently owned manufacturers of acetylene in the southeastern U.S. and has an established sales platform with eight distributors and their 22 total stores across Alabama and Tennessee. J & M also operates retail stores of its own. J & M has taken receipt of its first fuel shipment from the Company and has begun converting acetylene users to MagneGas™. As with previously announced Blue Water Industrial Products, J & M's goal is to eventually make MagneGas™ a leading component of its fuel product offering. MagneGas has granted J & M the master distributor territory rights for the state of Alabama and the 250-mile radius around its Decatur, AL facility.

Also in parallel with Blue Water, J & M represents a strategic evolution of the Company's fuel sales efforts. As MagneGas President Scott Wainwright explains:

"We believe that J & M has the potential to not just become the largest domestic distributor of MagneGas™, but perhaps its largest producer as well. As one of the region's highest-volume acetylene manufacturers, J & M is the ideal candidate to make MagneGas™ a mass market fuel. We will be exploring structures whereby J & M can become a satellite MagneGas™ producer and accelerate our market penetration."

Adds J & M President Joe Webber, "We first discovered MagneGas™ at the FABTECH show in November and have since conducted months of due diligence -- we have established that MagneGas™ cuts cleaner and quicker than acetylene, our traditional core product. We believe that MagneGas™ fuel could be the future of both the industry and J & M Cylinder Gases."

MagneGas can provide no assurance as to the eventual installation of a MagneGas™ Recycler at a J & M facility, nor at the facilities of any other existing or future client.
