MagneGas Initiates Manufacture of First Industrial Scale Sewage Treatment Refinery

TAMPA, FL--(Marketwire - November 17, 2010) - MagneGas Corporation ("MagneGas" or the "Company") (OTCBB: MNGA), the producer of a technology that converts liquid waste into a metal working fuel and natural gas alternative, announced today that it has initiated the manufacture of a second high volume Refinery, specifically designed to treat sewage. This is the first industrial scale sewage treatment Refinery produced for use in the U.S. and it will serve as the international demonstration unit for prospective wastewater customers. This industrial refinery will have dual plasma arc flow modules to allow for continuous operation. The Refinery can be quickly mobilized and transported for client-site operation as warranted.

"This Refinery will mark yet another leap forward for our business, making possible an expanded equipment sales effort," stated MagneGas President Richard Connelly. "We have received numerous indications of interest in this application from potential clients around the world, though always with the proviso that we demonstrate in continuous, high volume fashion. With this Refinery we will have that ability for the first time, and we feel that this milestone will open strategically important doors for us, both at home and abroad."
