MagneGas Secures Third Significant Fuel Customer in Last 60 Days

Garden Street Iron & Metal Provides Additional Multi-Location Expansion Opportunity

TAMPA, FL--(Marketwire - Apr 14, 2011) - MagneGas Corporation ("MagneGas" or the "Company") (OTCBB: MNGA), the producer of a technology that converts liquid waste into a hydrogen-based metal working fuel and natural gas alternative, announced today that it has reached agreement with scrap recycling leader Garden Street Iron & Metal (www.gardenst.com) to provide one of the client's locations with up to 100 cylinders of MagneGas™ per week. The Company believes it can expand this relationship to other Garden Street locations in Florida and Ohio.

"Empowered by the completion of our first dedicated fuel-producing Refinery, we have further penetrated the domestic fuel market," stated MagneGas President Scott Wainwright. "We believe we are just beginning to scratch the surface of our fuel's potential, and growing customer demand supports this. Garden Street is representative of the customers now within our reach: influential local brand; high volume, repeat sales; and multiple locations providing the opportunity for rapid account expansion. We will be servicing Garden Street through our new direct sale platform, eliminating distributor involvement and allowing us to capture retail margins."

As Garden Street Yard Manager Tim Nicolay commented, they switched to MagneGas™ because "As a waste recycler ourselves we are always looking to be greener, and the fuel has the added benefits of both burning hotter and cutting faster than what we have been using."
