MaintenanceNet Launches New Service Contract Management Portal for Leading Government Technology Solution Provider

Portal Streamlines Maintenance and Warranty Management While Strengthening Customer Service

CARLSBAD, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 15, 2007 -- MaintenanceNet, Inc., the leading provider of maintenance contract management services, today announced that it was selected by a leading government technology solution provider to deliver service contract lifecycle management along with a web-based portal to facilitate service management for assets sold in the United States. MaintenanceNet technology eliminates manual business processes and gives the solution provider access to consolidated service contract data for the first time.

The portal provides four primary offerings: service renewal management; tracking of expiring warranties; identification of uncovered assets (products sold without service agreements); and customer contract consolidation across product lines. Key portal features include automated, proactive e-mail notifications in advance of expiring service contracts; reporting capabilities; and access to data including serial numbers, purchase orders, and coverage dates for improved communication and contract management. With these features, the solution provider can provide critical information to help customers make technology refresh decisions, consolidate to a single repository all support services agreements, co-terminate multiple support contracts, and easily identify gaps in coverage.

MaintenanceNet designed the portal to allow the solution provider to effortlessly manage its maintenance and warranty business and enhance customer satisfaction. The new portal, which was launched earlier this month and provided to a select number of customers initially, is expected to deliver dramatic improvements in service contract management because it transforms manual business processes into streamlined, automated tasks that take only minutes to complete.

"We are very pleased to partner with MaintenanceNet to incorporate this service into our system. This product enables us to track service contract lifecycles more accurately and faster than in the past," said a spokesperson in charge of support services for the government solution provider. "We are always striving to improve customer service. MaintenanceNet will help boost operational efficiency by granting access to a 24x7 portal, assuring customer support is available when they need it. That way, we allow our customers to focus on their core business goals."

"MaintenanceNet is extremely proud to play a role in this leading solution provider's efforts to bring added value to its customers through this important new service contract management initiative," said Shayne Skaff, VP, Business Development for MaintenanceNet. "We're confident that they will continue to experience dramatic improvements in customer satisfaction as they further leverage the portal as a proactive business tool."
