Major Corporation Orders Additional Eagle Broadband SatMAX® Unit to Test Iridium-Based Equipment and Products

LEAGUE CITY, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 6, 2007 -- Eagle Broadband, Inc. (AMEX: EAG), a national provider of broadband, Internet Protocol (IP) and digital communications technology and services, announced today that a nationally known communications technology corporation has placed an additional order for Eagle's SatMAX® satellite-based communications technology and equipment system to test its own NAL Research Iridium-modem-based products.

Typically utilized for its emergency communications capabilities, Eagle's SatMAX technology is also highly effective tool for testing all types of Iridium-based technology.

"This repeat order validates that this unconventional use of our SatMAX product is indeed a viable business opportunity for Eagle," said Eagle Broadband President and CEO Dave Micek, who added that it can also be a challenging market to break into. "We are finding that customers like this one -- suppliers of secure voice and data communications products, systems and networks to military, government and commercial organizations worldwide -- typically prefer anonymity."

The inability to name clients makes it difficult to offer case studies or customer testimonials in their marketing efforts to potential clients. "We certainly appreciate the sensitivity of the situation," said Micek. "We're pleased to let their repeat orders speak for them."
