Major League Baseball Player Steve Finley to Speak at Message Bus' Serendipity Series Today

CORTE MADERA, CA--(Marketwire - Oct 18, 2012) - Message Bus, the first to provide a cloud-native application service enabling and powering messaging across email and mobile channels, is excited to announce that retired Major League Baseball Player Steve Finley will speak at its Serendipity Series today at 11:30 a.m. PT.

The Serendipity Series, hosted at Message Bus' headquarters in Marin, is an ongoing speaker series that brings together technology professionals with business leaders, artists, athletes, writers and thinkers to encourage the cross pollination of ideas and stories in order to promote creativity. Talks are unscripted and focus on matters of personal and professional importance and interest. Past speakers include Om Malik, Lane Becker and Thor Muller, Biz Stone, Ido Leffler, Max Levchin, Matt Mullenweg, Phillip Rosedale, Dave Hersh, Kara Swisher, Tina Sharkey and Jon Avnet.

Finley is presenting the 12th talk in the Serendipity Series. He spent 19 years in Major League Baseball. He is an MVP in the All-Stars Series, a Gold Glove Award Winner and a World Series Champion. He is one of two players in baseball history to record 300 home runs, 300 stolen bases and 100 triples.
