Often power customers are not informed about planned or sudden power outages and can spend a significant amount of time on hold waiting for details about when power restoration is expected. The partnership between TextPower and Milsoft provides a significant upgrade to customer service by allowing Milsoft's utility customers to receive and send immediate text messages about such things as outages, load shedding alerts, delinquencies, appointment scheduling, pending payments and other services offered through Milsoft in its IVR hosted call center using TextPower's SMS service 24 hours a day.
