Make-A-Wish(R) Canada Celebrates 2012 Season of Wishes(R)

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 10, 2012) - The holiday season is here and for Make-A-Wish Canada, this time of year is known as the Season of Wishes. It is a time for wish families, volunteers, supporters and corporate partners to celebrate our magical mission and the 428 wishes granted in 2012, including Isabella, 10, NLP Hodgkins, who had her wish to go to Mexico to visit an orphanage.

The Season of Wishes is also a time of giving and giving back. This year, giving back is easier than ever. You can support our wish granting efforts across the country in a variety of ways to help us reach our target of granting more than 460 more wishes to courageous children in 2013.

1. Shop for Wishes

Shorten your shopping list, while helping Make-A-Wish^®, by purchasing your holiday gifts through our retail partners. Some of the 2012 Shop for Wishes partners include:

Shop at Hallmark Gold Crown stores and make a purchase from the Make-A-Wish Collection. A portion of proceeds will support Make-A-Wish.

Shop at Brooks Brothers December 11^th and 12^th to enjoy a 15% discount. You can shop at Brooks Brothers Canada stores, online at www.BrooksBrothers.com or by phone at 800.274.1815, and 10% of net sales will be donated to Make-A-Wish.

Purchase a Bowring Wish Dove Ornament this holiday season, and proceeds will benefit Make-A-Wish.

Donate at the till with West49 - One dollar donations collected at participating West 49 check outs will be contributed to Make-A-Wish.
