Make-A-Wish(R) Canada Partners With CSN Collision Centres for 2016 Rope for Hope Events

TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - April 05, 2016) - Make-A-Wish^® Canada is excited to announce that CSN Collision Centres will support Make-A-Wish^® Rope for Hope, Presented by Canadian Western Bank this year, the wish-granting organization's national signature fundraising event, as a Rope Sponsor in four cities.

"Over the past five years, the company has raised more than $100,000 to help grant magical wishes for our wish kids. In 2015, CSN's support helped to grant the wishes of two wish kids and their families: Chase, 4, acute lymphoblastic leukemia, who wished to go on a big plane for a family vacation to Florida, and Mikayla, 4, stage 3/4 neuroblastoma, who wished to meet her favourite princesses at a magical theme park in Orlando.

Rope for Hope is an exhilarating event where individuals raise a minimum of $1,500 for local wish-granting efforts in exchange for the thrilling opportunity to rappel down a city skyscraper. The events are open to the general public. Those interested are encouraged to sign up at www.ropeforhope.ca. Space is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Make-A-Wish Canada hopes to raise $1.4 million in 2016 through Rope for Hope events, adding to the over $2.5 million that has been raised since its launch in 2012.
