Make-A-Wish(R) Rope for Hope, Presented by Canadian Western Bank, Returns for Another Year of Adrenaline-Fueled Excitement

TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - March 23, 2016) -  How many people can say they've scaled the side of a city skyscraper while helping to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions? Dare to do something extraordinary for your community this year and register for Make-A-Wish® Rope for Hope, Presented by Canadian Western Bank, the national signature fundraising event for Make-A-Wish^® Canada.

Rope for Hope is an exhilarating event where individuals raise a minimum of $1,500 for wish-granting efforts in exchange for the opportunity to rappel down a city building. Rope for Hope rappelling events are scheduled to take place starting in May through October 2016 in multiple Canadian cities. The events are open to the general public. Those interested are asked to sign up at www.ropeforhope.ca. Space is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

There are a variety of ways to participate: as an individual, in a team, as part of a fundraising group to send your boss/teacher/fearless leader down the building or by sponsoring another participant or the event.

Time: Rappel times will be pre-assigned throughout event day.

Registration Fee: $50 

Fundraising Requirement: $1,500 (minimum)
