Management Energy Secures Brian McNiell of Pritchard Capital to Be a Member of the Board of Advisors

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA--(Marketwire - September 2, 2009) - Management Energy, Inc. (OTCBB: MMEX), an exploration stage coal company, announced the appointment of Brian McNiell to serve as a member of the Board of Advisors.

Brian is currently a Senior Vice President in the global energy group of Pritchard Capital Partners, LLC ("Pritchard"). He has more than 10 years of operating and investment banking experience in the coal, oil, gas and alternative energy industry. Brian has executed and advised on more than $500 million of transactions in the coal space in both the Central Appalachian Basin and the Mid Continent including recapitalizations and public equity offerings for the largest coal companies in the U.S.

The focus of this study is to allow us to consolidate complementary resource reserves as well as identified cash flowing reserves over the immediate months. Prior to joining Pritchard Mr. McNiell was a Senior Vice President in Morgan Keegan's Energy & Infrastructure Investment Banking Group where he specialized in project and corporate finance across the energy spectrum. Prior to this position Mr. McNiell served as COO of a hedge fund that specialized in statistical commodity trading following, COO of an oil and gas production company as well as a period with a global public accounting firm. Mr. McNiell holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Memphis and is a CFA charterholder as well as a CPA.

Management Energy, Inc., an exploration stage company, engages in the exploration, extraction, and distribution of coal. It leases approximately 6,254 acres located in the vicinity of Bridger in Carbon County, Montana for the purpose of mining, removing, marketing, and selling coal.
