Managing Automation Expands International Reach With Launch of China Publication

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - September 24, 2007) - Managing Automation, the award winning media platform for advanced manufacturing technologies, today announced the formation of a publishing partnership with China's Leadzil and the launch of a bi-monthly e-newsletter that will reach more than 20,000 qualified buyers in the Chinese manufacturing market.

The new e-newsletter, called Managing Automation e-News China, will be accompanied by a micro website Both the e-newsletter, the first issue of which will cover Enterprise Applications, and the website will be launched on September 25. Managing Automation e-News China, written in Mandarin, will be distributed to 20,000 opt-in e-newsletter subscribers and will combine editorial content produced by Managing Automation and Leadzil.

The newsletter will provide Chinese manufacturing decision-makers with a global perspective on key manufacturing business and technology issues, including how to achieve greater operational efficiencies; connect better with customers, partners and suppliers; integrate real-time data from the plant floor to the enterprise systems; establish lean practices; stimulate innovation; ensure greater quality; and drive greater growth and profitability.

"The launch of Managing Automation e-News China will fill two important and timely needs at once," said MA Publisher Heather L. Mikisch. "First, Chinese manufacturers have a clear and growing need for insightful information about how advanced technologies can be used to improve their operations, compliance with quality standards and connectivity to global markets. At the same time, advanced technology suppliers are looking to reach key decision-makers in Chinese manufacturing companies to offer them tools to help realize these objectives. We are honored and excited to be working with Leadzil on this important offering for the marketplace."

Snowp, Founder and President of Leadzil, added, "We are very pleased to be working with such a well-known and respected publication as Managing Automation. Together, we will be providing key Chinese manufacturing executives the information they need to make smarter technology decisions for their companies."

Managing Automation e-News China will reach key manufacturing technology decision-makers in such industry segments as metals, pharmaceuticals, automotive, food processing, packaging, electronic and communications equipment and petrochemicals. Upcoming editions of the newsletter will focus on such technologies as manufacturing execution systems, product lifecycle management, supply chain management, business intelligence and RFID.

Leadzil, based in Beijing, currently publishes the print publication Industry Watch for manufacturing decision-makers in China. The publisher has also developed a cutting-edge online lead generation tool, which will be included as part of the joint program offering.
