Manaris Corporation Announces Appointment of Interim CEO

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - Sept. 16, 2005) - Manaris Corporation (OTCBB: MANS)(Frankfurt WKN: 255471), announces the appointment of John G. Fraser, the Company's Secretary/Treasurer, as interim Chief Executive Officer effective today, following the resignation of Stephane Solis."

Mr. Robert Clarke, Chairman of the Board, commented: "During his five-year tenure at Manaris Corporation, Stephane applied his expertise in identifying key acquisitions for the Corporation and has successfully realized a number of important transactions. He made substantial contributions to the Company and will be missed. We wish him well in his future endeavors."

Mr. Fraser was a partner for 20 years at KPMG Canada and Vice Chairman of the firm for the last 4 years until his departure in January of 1998. He has been a director of a number of publicly-traded companies and a director and Secretary of Manaris since 2003. He is currently a partner at Catalyst Consulting, a leading provider of legal services consulting to law firms and law departments throughout North America.
