Manhattan Center Hosts Exclusive Demonstrations of Martin Audio's MLA Compact Multi-Cellular Loudspeaker Array

Product Demonstrations Took Place in Grand Ballroom on October 21-22

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - November 05, 2013) -  Martin Audio Ltd., a designer of leading-edge live performance systems, set up shop inside Manhattan Center's Grand Ballroom on October 21-22 for a special event: a series of exclusive demonstrations of Martin Audio's award-winning MLA Compact™ Multi-cellular Loudspeaker Array.

The demonstrations were held to give members of the concert industry an opportunity to learn more about MLA Compact's groundbreaking technology and to hear the system. They included a technical presentation by Martin Audio's Research and Development Director Jason Baird and a live demonstration of MLA Compact.

Martin Audio's MLA cellular technology combines cellular array design with fast, automated intelligent software to deliver a dramatically increased level of performance and coverage consistency compared to conventional line array technology. In the short time since its introduction, the full-size MLA has received multiple awards for innovation. Now MLA Compact brings the revolutionary cellular technology behind MLA to a wider range of touring and installed sound applications.

Sam Spennacchio, Martin Audio's Sales Manager-Eastern Region (USA), said, "We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. The Grand Ballroom's entire crew from top to bottom was truly professional and simply tremendous. Our demonstration was an outstanding success, and Manhattan Center's staff played a big part in that success. They made me look like a rock star! I look forward to a continuing partnership between Martin Audio and Manhattan Center."

Peter Ross, President of Manhattan Center Productions, said, "Going forward, we intend to plan and work with concert industry companies to host more such events on a regular basis. These events benefit us in two ways. First, we are appreciated for serving our constituents. Second, the attendees who tour our facilities are more likely to book these facilities in the future."
