Grammy Award-Winning Latin Alternative Band Brings Latest Tour to New York City

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Sep 12, 2013) - Fresh from the success of their 2012 live album El objeto antes llamado disco and their rollicking show at the 2013 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, the Grammy Award-winning Café Tacvba, presented by Goldenvoice, comes to Manhattan Center's Hammerstein Ballroom, located at 311 West 34th Street between Eighth and Ninth Avenues, on Monday, September 16 at 8:00 pm.

Based in Ciudad Satélite, Mexico, Café Tacvba -- whose lineup consists of Emmanuel Del Real, Enrique Rangel, Joselo Rangel and Rubén Albarrán -- have been playing their unique style of Latin Alternative/Rock en Español since 1989. Their two-album vocal/instrumental collection, Revés/Yo Soy, won the Grammy Award for Best Latin Rock Album of 1999. In 2003, Cuatros Caminos won the Grammy for Best Latin Rock/Alternative Album, and Sino won two Latin Grammys in 2008 -- one for best rock song and one for best alternative song of the year.
