NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - June 16, 2008) - Recording artist Christopher Browder, who goes by the name Mansions, will digitally release his debut EP, 'Mansions,' on June 17, it was announced today by his label Doghouse Records. The EP will contain six tracks: "The Worst Part," "Take It Back," "Tangerine" and "I Told a Lie," as well as 2 exclusive acoustic tracks, live performances and interviews. The EP will be available on all major digital services as well as

"It's like I've been sitting on this secret thing that I'm enormously proud of for the last few months, and to finally get to see how people react to it is amazing," said Browder.

'Mansions' along with Browder's forthcoming LP 'New Best Friends' (out later this year) was produced in Long Island, NY with producer Mike Sapone (Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, Public Enemy). The collection of tracks on the EP mix a sense of tenderness with strong up-beat tempos and are best described by Browder as "actually sounding like an actual human being performed them with slight imperfections." Browder served as a triple-threat: singer, songwriter and instrumentalist on the EP, playing all instruments except drums.

Fans are encouraged to get to know Browder and the music from Mansions by entering a contest featured by Doghouse Records where up to five winners will be selected for one on one time with Browder.
