Manson Creek Discovers Three New Gossans on Tell Project, Yukon

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - July 25, 2011) - Manson Creek Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:MCK) ('Manson Creek') is pleased to announce the discovery of three new gossans on the Tell property, located immediately south of ATAC Resources Ltd. Rau claims, in the Yukon.

While prospecting in the area of the Tell natural spring gossan and vegetation kill zone, geologists discovered three new, well developed and active, natural spring gossans; Crystal Springs, Ash Springs, and Area 51. The new discoveries extend over 600 meters, roughly east-west, from the large Tell Zone and each of the gossans contains numerous active spring vents. Reconnaissance soil samples collected in 2005 down slope from the Crystal Springs and Ash Springs Zones returned highly anomalous zinc, lead, arsenic and numerous other gold pathfinder element values. Soil, water and rock samples were collected at each of the new discoveries and are currently being analyzed. Geological personnel also completed detailed stream sampling across the property.

Manson Creek believes the four Tell property gossans to be of extreme significance due to the number of successful drill discoveries made on similar gossans in the region. The strike of the four gossan zones possibly delineates a normal fault along the front of the mountain range that has brought the mineralized source of the natural spring gossans closer to the present day surface. Furthermore, the identification of fossiliferous limestone proximal to the four Tell property gossans further supports the Company's exploration model that the mineralized stratigraphy, where numerous recent discoveries have been made, extends to the Tell property. The Tell, Crystal Springs, Ash Springs and Area 51 gossans have never been drill tested and each bears similarities to the Ocelot mineralized occurrence recently announced by ATAC Resources Ltd. Please see the Manson Creek website for maps and photographs of the new discoveries.

The Ocelot discovery was made by targeting an undrilled natural spring surface gossan with associated strongly anomalous zinc and lead sample results. Like the Ocelot zone, the four Tell property gossans are located near regional carbonate units within structurally complex geology in and proximal to the Rackla gold belt.

Tell Project Background

The Company's 100% owned Tell property is now well over 2,000 hectares with the claims located approximately 140 kilometers east of Mayo, Yukon and contiguous to Strategic Metals Ltd. Goz claims and ATAC Resources Ltd. Rau claims. Many of the recent gold and silver discoveries in the region have been made in areas of prominent known, but not drill tested, gossan zones that contain anomalous zinc, lead and pathfinder elements. The Tell natural spring gossan and vegetation kill zone extends over 300 meters and is cored by a 75 meter by 240 meter zone hosting high zinc values in soil samples ranging from 10,000 to 49,600 parts per million (ppm) zinc along with significant lead values. Detailed samples collected on the newly discovered Ash Spring, Crystal Springs and Area 51 natural spring gossans are pending and will be reported when available.
