MAPLE PICTURES SECURES SNL DEAL WITH BROADWAY VIDEO

CANADIAN HOME ENTERTAINMENT DISTRIBUTION RIGHTS LOCKED FOR BEST OF 'SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE' VIDEO COLLECTIONS Attention: Arts/Entertainment Editor TORONTO, ON--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 28, 2005) - It was announced today that Maple Pictures Corp. and Broadway Video Enterprises have locked a deal that grants Maple Pictures exclusive Canadian rights to the Best of "Saturday Night Live" branded direct-to-video product.

The deal brings a minimum 15 additional Best of "Saturday Night Live" titles to video over the next three years. The first two titles available will hit streets in January - "Saturday Night Live" Best of Alec Baldwin and "Saturday Night Live" Best of David Spade.

"We are pleased to be continuing our partnership with Broadway Video Entertainment on what has proven to be some of our best-selling, highest quality product", said Ian Goggins, SVP of Sales & Operations for Maple Pictures. "Our previous Best of 'Saturday Night Live' releases including collections of the best of Will Ferrell, Adam Sandler, and Chris Farley have been immensely successful and we're looking forward to continuing the series."

The deal was negotiated by Laurie May and Ian Goggins for Maple Pictures and by Britta von Schoeler and Seth Michael for Broadway Video Enterprises.
