Maplesoft Group Appoints Paul Butcher as President

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - July 28, 2011) - Maplesoft Group, a Platinum-level member of Oracle®PartnerNetwork (OPN), today announced the appointment of Paul Butcher into the role of President effective immediately. Butcher has more than 25 years of experience in the IT Communications and Software arena and most recently served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Mitel Networks for over a decade. In this role, he was responsible for annual sales of $650 million and the evolution of the business from hardware centricity to a leading software provider. Butcher is an Engineering Graduate of Reading College of Technology, UK.
