Maplesoft Group Is Extremely Proud to Announce That Jody Campeau, President & CEO, Has Won the Prestigious Canada's Top 40 Under 40™ Award

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - April 28, 2011) -Canada's Top 40 Under 40™ is a national award program, which honours 40 Canadians in the private, public, and non-profit sectors under the age of 40 each year. The program, now in its 16th year, is managed by founding sponsor, The Caldwell Partners International. In addition, national sponsors include The Globe and Mail and WestJet.

Jody was selected from over 1000 nominees by an independent Advisory Board, comprised of 25 business leaders from across Canada. The winners were chosen based on five key criteria: vision and leadership; innovation and achievement; impact; community involvement and contribution; and strategy for growth. Jody was recognized for the exceptional growth experienced by Maplesoft under his leadership, as well as his tireless commitment to the community.

Since Jody joined Maplesoft in 2001, they have grown from a $1M local Ottawa consulting company to an over $85M Global Systems Integrator. Jody has made it Maplesoft's mission to be the Premier Provider of Professional Services and Solutions globally. To that end, Jody has worked diligently to strive for excellence in all that Maplesoft does. The 2010 annual listing for the Branham300 saw Maplesoft rank on 5 lists, including placing number 65 (up from 118 in 2009) on the Top 250 Canadian Technology Companies. Further, Maplesoft was ranked number 2 on the 'Top 20 Movers and Shakers'; number 6 on the 'Top 10 Canadian ICT Staffing'; number 7 on the 'Top 10 Growth Companies'; and number 20 on the 'Top 25 Canadian ICT Professional Services Companies'. (

Showcasing his passion for the community, Jody has founded the Maplesoft Hawks, a non-profit AAA Spring Hockey Organization focused on excellence and fair play, providing elite players in the region the opportunity to develop their skills. Maplesoft has made this program affordable for all families by covering the cost of team uniforms for their players, and team insurance for all 17 of its teams.( Jody also founded the Maplesoft Children's Foundation, wherein Maplesoft contributes one dollar for every day a consultant is on assignment, in order to help underprivileged children attend summer camp. To date, Maplesoft has donated over $500,000 to the Foundation. Most notably, in May 2010, Jody and his team made a $1.8M donation to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation in support of their Courage Campaign. This gift has gone directly to the construction of Ottawa's first cancer survivorship centre to be named Maplesoft Centre, in recognition of that donation.

Jody, a father of six children, is also part owner and Chief Operating Officer of CMG Sports, a professional sports agency with 235 clients; 80 of which are on NHL contracts. (
