Alan will be responsible for directing MapR's ecosystem of partner relationships as the company continues to expand operations and build out its partner network.

Alan has more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry and comes to MapR with a proven track record of developing partnership strategies and execution plans globally. In his previous role, Alan served as senior director of worldwide partner field operations at VMware where he was responsible for the partner strategy for all new acquisitions. Prior to joining VMware seven years ago, Alan was responsible for the Go-To-Market partnerships at 3Com, Veritas and Ion Systems.
