MapR Technologies Adds Offices in the Netherlands and Inks Local Partnership

Extends Presence to Help Dutch Organizations Benefit From Hadoop-Based Technologies

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwired - Sep 25, 2014) -  MapR Technologies, Inc., provider of the top-ranked distribution for Apache™ Hadoop®, today announced that it has opened its first offices in the Netherlands to extend its presence in the EMEA region. The company also signed a partnership agreement with Anchormen to broaden consulting and MapR training services in the region.

MapR has hired Hugo Karelse to lead expansion in the Benelux countries. Karelse joins MapR following senior roles within several big data technology groups at Oracle.
