Marani Announces Over 26% Increase in Sales for May 2009

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - June 24, 2009) - Marani Brands Inc. (OTCBB: MRIB) is pleased to announce a more than 26% increase in sales for the month of May 2009, as compared to May 2008 and a more than 67% increase in total case distribution for the first five months of 2009 compared to the same period in 2008. Management has attributed the growth to the successful implementation of its aggressive marketing and events strategy and additional distribution in key markets.

Since implementation of its aggressive marketing and events strategy, Marani has supported more than a dozen events in Los Angeles, New York, San Diego, and Chicago that strategically position the brand as the ultra-premium vodka of choice to tastemakers in the worlds of art, fashion and entertainment.

Marani has consistently delivered substantial sales increases for nearly every month thus far in 2009, as compared to the previous year.
