Marc Boisvert Becomes MDN Inc.-Vice President-Exploration

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Sept. 11, 2008) - MDN Inc. ("MDN") (TSX:MDN) announces that Mr. Marc Boisvert, P.Eng, will become the Vice President - Exploration for MDN. The MDN board of directors confirmed the appointment, and Mr. Boisvert will assume his duties immediately.

Prior to joining MDN, Marc Boisvert was an exploration consultant (2004-2006) and became the VP Exploration (2006-2008) for Midlands Minerals Corporation, an exploration resource company active in Ghana and Tanzania, where he was instrumental in directing the exploration operations in these countries. From 1999 to 2003 he was vice president and director of the Tanzanian subsidiaries of Barrick Gold Corporation, where he played a large role in developing that organization's presence in the country. His experience also includes previous exploration positions with Mazarin, Inmet Mining, Minnova, Falconbridge Copper and Noranda Exploration. Amoung his numerous accomplishments are his contribution in the discoveries in Panama of the Vega deposit (300 Mt @ 0.5% Cu) and the Molejon gold bearing deposit (8 Mt @ 3g/t Au) for Inmet Mining; his role and contribution in the development through to feasibility of the Troilus project (49Mt @ 1.4 g/t Au) north of Chibougamau for Minnova; and for Falconbridge Copper, his work for the expansion and deepening of the Lake Shortt mine.

Marc will replace Dominique Fournier, PhD who, since July 2006 has been the Vice President of Exploration for MDN. Paul-A. Girard stated that "Mr. Fournier had decided to resign to pursue other opportunities in North America, and we wish him every success in these endeavours. With Marc's arrival, we have ensured a smooth and short transition period, and exploration activities will continue on a normal basis."

MDN is a mining exploration company with its head office in Montreal, Quebec (Canada). Its main exploration activities are carried out in Quebec through gold and base metal interests and in Tanzania through a majority interest in 28 adjacent mineral licenses in addition to a 30% participation interest in the Tulawaka Gold Mine.
