MARC-BORIS ST-MAURICE BACK IN COURT ARGUING AGAINST MARIJUANA CHARGE

Marc-Boris St-Maurice will appear again in court this Tuesday May 3rd 2005, to respond to charges of marijuana possession. Attention: Assignment Editor, News Editor, Government/Political Affairs Editor MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - May 3, 2005) - Marc-Boris St-Maurice will appear again in court Tuesday May 3rd 2005, to respond to charges of marijuana possession.

(09:30 hrs -- Room 5.06, Palais de Justice, 1 rue Notre-Dame east in Montreal)

Mr. St-Maurice is being represented by Montreal attorney Julius Grey who will argue that the evidence gathered at the time of his client's arrest at Montreal's 'Chez Marijane' last March, be excluded on the grounds that it was unconstitutional for police officers to join a political party during their investigation.

Mr. St-Maurice will be available to answer questions from the press at 09:00 on Tuesday May 3rd in the atrium of the Palais de Justice on the third floor.

Mr. St-Maurice was founder and leader of both the Bloc Pot and the Federal Marijuana Party.

He is presently a member in good standing of the Liberal party of Canada.
