Marco Tulio Appointed Vice President, Exploration of International Nickel Ventures

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 19, 2007) - International Nickel Ventures Corporation (TSX:INV) ("INV" or the "Company") is pleased to announce, effective September 7, 2007, the appointment of Marco Tulio Naves de Carvalho to the position of Vice-President, Exploration.

Marco graduated from the University of Brasilia with a B.Sc. in geology in 1990 and a M.Sc. in 1999. He has over 17 years experience in the mining industry. Prior to joining INV, Marco has worked in Brazil for Western Mining Corporation, Barrick Gold, Cominco, Codelco and Amazonia Mineracao, exploring for gold, copper, zinc and both laterite and sulphide nickel deposits. He was part of a team responsible for the discovery of Ferreira, Fazenda Nova and Sertao Gold Mines in Goias State, and Boa Esperanca Copper Deposit, in the Carajas region.
