Marco's already has 10 brick-and-mortar stores throughout the state. The next push is to find franchisees interested in opening Marco's stores in Littleton, Castle Rock, Parker, Longmont, Highlands Ranch, Grand Junction, Northern Colorado, Boulder and South Denver.
Since 1978, Marco's has remained committed to using only quality ingredients and making every pizza a perfect pizza. The Toledo, Ohio-based brand is ranked No. 104 on Entrepreneur magazine's Top 500 franchise list for 2014 and is included this year in Franchise Business Review's ninth annual Top 200 Franchises.
The opportunity to build a Marco's franchise in the Denver area is unique because of the city's love of pizza as the ultimate convenience food. A Marco's store in this area is more likely to sell pizza by the slice and also see more foot traffic.
"We have a bigger dine-in component and more lunch business than the traditional Marco's," Kintz said. "Coloradans want to see and taste their food, and it's about more than just the food. The dine-in component allows people to experience our product before they have it delivered to their homes."
