Marijuana Company of America's Client Kush Clinic to Benefit From New Ordinance in Palm Desert Allowing Medical Cannabis Delivery

BONSALL, CA--(Marketwired - Jan 27, 2016) - MARIJUANA COMPANY OF AMERICA ("MCOA" or the "Company") (OTC PINK: MCOA), an innovative cannabis marketing and distribution company, is very pleased that the City of Palm Desert, California has approved an ordinance that allows medical cannabis delivery with a majority 4-1 vote. This new ordinance will help the Company's client, Kush Clinic in Palm Desert, in delivering more products to more customers. This is a trend that we anticipate more cities throughout California will begin adopting as MCOA expands its client base statewide.

Council Members approved the ordinance allowing medical cannabis delivery while they have currently banned cultivation and dispensaries. Council Members listened to arguments from Palm Desert citizens on both sides and as a result changed the wording of the ordinance to allow delivery.

MCOA's managed services client, Kush Clinic, operates in the Palm Desert area and will benefit directly by the passing of this ordinance. It is critical that Kush and others operating in the Cannabis industry in California comply with all State laws and local ordinances under the current regulatory framework as State licensing is implemented to ensure that Kush is eligible to obtain proper licensing and permitting under the new regulatory framework.
