Marin Software & Marketing Land Reveal 2015's Biggest Social Geek

Nick Haase of Loot! Wins the Second Annual SocialPro Biggest Social Geek Contest

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Nov 19, 2015) - Marin Software Incorporated (NYSE: MRIN), provider of a leading cross-channel performance advertising cloud for advertisers and agencies, and Marketing Land are pleased to announce the winners of the second annual SocialPro Biggest Social Geek contest. Nick Haase, CEO and Co-Founder of Loot!, is this year's Grand Prize and North American winner.

Biggest Social Geek is a challenging, quiz-based contest where social media marketers from around the world compete to outsmart fellow industry pros. The questions cover a range of topics, from campaign management know-how to industry knowledge of major social publishers and trends.

Haase, the Grand Prize winner, scored 80% in slightly under five minutes to beat out the competition. He won a flight and hotel accommodations for two to SocialPro by Marketing Land, where he was recognized onstage with the 2015 Biggest Social Geek award. Haase also received an Apple iPad Mini 4.

In addition to the Grand Prize winner, regional winners were also named. Jason Saunders, Marketing Manager at uSwitch, took the title for the United Kingdom while Emily Malone, Digital Strategist at ntegrity, won in Australia. Each regional winner will also receive an Apple iPad Mini 4.

The top 50 finishers will receive a free Biggest Social Geek t-shirt and a website badge indicating their leading placement in the competition.
