About Abby Wambach:
Born on June 2, 1980, in Rochester, New York, Abby Wambach became the all-time leading scorer at the University of Florida. She played for the Washington, Florida and Western New York clubs in U.S. women's pro soccer leagues, and twice led the national team to Olympic Games gold medals. The all-time leader in international goals, Wambach won a long-awaited World Cup title in 2015.
