Mark Logic Appoints Mark Tice as Executive Vice President of Sales

SAN CARLOS, CA--(Marketwire - January 6, 2010) - Mark Logic® Corporation (www.marklogic.com), a leading provider of information infrastructure software, today announced that Mark Tice has joined the company as executive vice president of sales.

Mark Tice brings more than 20 years of executive management, sales, and business development experience to Mark Logic. Tice joins Mark Logic from Oracle where he most recently was vice president. Prior to Oracle, Tice served as chief executive officer of Bridgestream, which was acquired by Oracle in 2007. Prior to Bridgestream, Tice held various executive roles in field operations, sales, and business development at Business Objects, Sybase, and Mantas Software.
