Mark Logic Named Finalist for Prestigious Jolt Product Excellence Award

SAN MATEO, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 13, 2007 -- Mark Logic Corporation, provider of the industry's leading XML content server, today announced that it has been chosen as a finalist for the 17th Annual Jolt Product Excellence Awards. MarkLogic Server was nominated in the database engines and data tools category.

Sponsored by Jolt Cola, the awards are presented annually to products that have "jolted" the industry with their significance and made the task of creating software faster, easier and more efficient. Award winners are selected by a panel of judges consisting of software development editors, columnists and industry gurus that recognize the forward-looking technology leaders providing insight into the latest and most promising industry trends.

The next step in the process brings finalists before the Jolt Judges for a final peer vote to determine the software products, books and websites that developers should be using today.

"We're honored to be recognized as a finalist for this year's coveted Jolt Awards," said Dave Kellogg, president and chief executive officer of Mark Logic Corporation. "Mark Logic is consistently praised for its unique ability to provide the foundation for a new generation of content applications that enable companies to do things with information that they didn't think possible. Being recognized by the Jolt Awards reinforces the value we bring to our customers and to the technology industry."

Winners of the 17th Annual Jolt Product Excellence Awards will be announced at the SD West 2007 Conference on March 21, 2007 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, California.
