Mark Logic Names Larry Rolnik as Vice President of Publishing

Promotion Reflects Mark Logic's Rapid Growth and Aggressive Sales Push in Publishing Market

SAN MATEO, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 27, 2007 --Mark Logic® Corporation, provider of the industry's leading XML content server, today announced the promotion of Larry Rolnik to vice president of publishing. In his new role, Rolnik, who has extensive experience in the technology industry, will create and manage a global sales team focused on the publishing vertical. Rolnik's new position is a direct result of the success Mark Logic has experienced providing publishers the means to improve profitability by reducing the time-to-market and cost for new products.

Prior to joining Mark Logic, Larry Rolnik held senior management positions at Covalent Technologies, an application monitoring and management technology vendor, McKesson Information Solutions, a leading clinical information solutions vendor focused on point of care applications, and Andromedia, an eCRM services provider. Rolnik was also with Sybase, where he held several positions including channels development and subsequently as a vice president where he developed the company's telecom vertical. Rolnik joined Mark Logic in 2004 and has been responsible for helping identify and close some of the company's largest publishing customers during his three year tenure.
