Mark Peschel of Zephyr Real Estate Obtains FHA Approval for 237-Unit Building

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - March 21, 2011) -   Mark Peschel, top producer with Zephyr Real Estate, worked long and hard for one of his clients to obtain FHA approval for a condo in a 237-unit building in San Francisco. In so doing, FHA approval was granted for the entire building,

To become FHA-approved, a property must successfully pass inspection by a certified FHA appraiser and meet specific FHA standards and criteria. For example, a property must be structurally sound and free of hazards in addition to an established level of overall aesthetics. Condominiums must undergo further measures for eligibility, which examine the homeowners associations, insurance coverage and finances. It is an exacting process.

FHA approval is beneficial to buyers and sellers alike in that it opens up more financing opportunities, smaller down payments and qualifying assistance for the credit-challenged. This increases the number of potential buyers immensely.

When Peschel acquired the listing for a unit in the Museum Parc building in Yerba Buena, he made it a priority to champion the cause to achieve FHA approval for his client. It took a few months, but FHA approval was achieved, not only for the unit but for the other 236 units as well.

Peschel is one of Zephyr's 2010 Top Producers, a Certified Residential Specialist and an e-PRO® certified agent by the National Association of REALTORS®. He is also a member of the San Francisco, California and National Associations of REALTORS®. Most clients are repeat or referral based. One recent repeat client had this to say about Peschel:

"...he was looking out for my best interests. Not only did he sell my home for well over the asking price in a down market, but he found me a wonderful new place in a neighborhood I never thought I could afford. Mark was highly professional and totally responsive at all times and attentive to every detail... Mark is just a really nice person and a devoted family man. In short, I couldn't be happier with his handling of both my home sale and my home purchase!"

Randall Kostick, Chief Operating Officer of Zephyr, said, "Mark has demonstrated his dedication to providing a positive buying and selling experience for all his clients. We are proud of his achievements and that he is part of the Zephyr team."
