Market Demands Drive Connectivity Wireless' New Southern California Office

DULUTH, GA--(Marketwired - Feb 25, 2014) - Distributed antenna system integrator, Connectivity Wireless Solutions, opens its ninth office to meet soaring in-building wireless market growth. Located in Anaheim, Calif., the office will maximize deployment efficiency in Southern California.

"Connectivity continues to see growth in the West," said Chief Operating Officer Clayt Mason. "In an effort to drive efficiency and improve customer service, we have expanded our western region by opening a new market-focused field office in Southern California."

Having opened its Freemont, Calif., office little more than a year ago, Connectivity's fast expansion is a clear indication of what to expect in terms of future DAS deployments.

A recent ABI Research study suggests that DAS industry growth between 2014 and 2019 will account for more than 60 percent of the in-building wireless market. With North America leading the way, ABI analysts project a worldwide CAGR of 14 percent, from $4.4 billion in 2014 to $8 billion in 2019.

Bryce Bregen, vice president of sales and marketing, attributes the explosive growth of the DAS industry to increases in data traffic in recent years and limited macro-cellular augmentation options.

According to the 2013-2018 Cisco® VNI, smartphones in North America generated 1,201 megabytes of mobile data traffic in 2013, up from 869 megabytes in 2012 and 50x the volume of North American mobile traffic in 2008.

Given this rapid growth, and projections of global petabyte-sized mobile data consumption in years to come, DAS remains the front runner for enhancing in-building wireless, solving both coverage and capacity issues for commercial customers and cellular carriers.

"With a true nationwide footprint of talented and trained experts in five regions across the U.S. and our newest office in Southern California and soon-to-come office in New Jersey, Connectivity is well positioned to address this surge," Mason said. "We will have leadership, talent, state-of-the-art equipment and secured warehousing no farther than four hours from every major city in the U.S."
