Market Leader Names Joe White Vice President of Sales and Service

Proven Business Leader With Track Record of Sales Success Becomes Third Senior Executive to Join Rapidly-Growing Company in Past Nine Months

KIRKLAND, WA--(Marketwire - May 17, 2011) - Market Leader (NASDAQ: LEDR) (http://www.MarketLeader.com), an innovator in online marketing and technology solutions for real estate professionals, today announced that Joe White has joined the company as Vice President of Sales and Service. White brings more than 20 years of sales, business development and executive leadership experience to Market Leader, with a successful record of driving rapid sales and revenue growth in software-as-a-service (SaaS) businesses.

White will be responsible for the company's sales efforts to real estate agents and brokers, as well as service and support for the more than 45,000 real estate professionals that currently use Market Leader's software products. The addition of White marks the third executive to join Market Leader in just the past nine months, following Chief Technology Officer Alex Lange and Chief Marketing Officer Sarah Daniels.

This latest high profile addition to the executive team comes just days after Market Leader posted its fifth consecutive quarter of revenue growth, and announced that it expects further acceleration in the company's growth in the quarters ahead.

White most recently served as President of Forensics Consulting Services, a services and software company in the legal industry. Prior to that as Executive Vice President of Sales at Attenex Inc., he helped lead the company from a start-up to an industry leader in the legal software industry. The company was a member of the Deloitte & Touche Fast 50 for three consecutive years before being acquired by FTI Consulting in 2008.

Prior to Attenex, White served in executive roles for Aventail Corporation, a network communications company, and Innuity, a website development company targeting small to medium sized businesses. Previously, he spent nine years at publically traded Mosaix, Inc., where he held positions including Vice President of North American sales and Vice President of Marketing. Mosaix, a telecommunications software company, was sold to Lucent Technologies in 1999. White holds a BS in communications management from the University of Portland, and a MBA from Harvard Business School.
