Investors need to be watching MidNet, Inc. (OTC BB: MIDX) this AM! MidNet created, owns and operates a proprietary enabling technology known as "The Middle Network." The Middle Network provides high-speed, high-capacity private digital connectivity to companies and people, who wish to create, manage and distribute valuable intellectual properties. The Middle Network acts as the 'middle layer' between telecommunications infrastructure companies (Telco's) and Application Service Providers (ASP's) for the benefit of end user customers. MidNet's initial target markets are the Entertainment and Oil & Gas industries, which collectively represent approximately 180 near-term new customer opportunities. MIDX just had excellent news out in a press release after Monday's bell announcing that Better World Communications will begin marketing a customized version of the mediaphone for secure VOIP communications over The Middle Network! This could be great news for investors!

MidNet, Inc. (OTC BB: MIDX) announced today that Better World Communications (BWC) will begin marketing a customized version of the mediaphone for secure VOIP communications over The Middle Network.

BWC anticipates significant growth in video-based communications and will leverage the security features built into The Middle Network to resolve the privacy shortcomings of typical video and Voice-Over-IP solutions. Experts continue to warn that video and voice communications over the Internet are subject to the same security risks as email. BWC believes that MidNet provides the solution to these issues.

BWC will use its 76 years of vast marketing resources to promote mediaphones. Mediaphones and their related services will be discounted, and in some cases free, to end-users who agree to receive targeted advertising. The Middle Network's device authentication system will also allow BWC to provide polling data to groups such as non-profit organizations, market research firms and political parties, while maintaining end-user privacy. BWC has secured an initial $1.5 million advertising budget to promote these services. BWC will provide mediaphones directly to end-users and end-user groups, as well as through personal computer and software bundles with third-party manufacturers.

According to Beryl Wolk, Co-Founder of Better World Communications, "We will use our significant marketing resources to establish new and exciting markets for mediaphones. Personal multimedia communications is the next major wave in telecommunications, and once enhanced with opt-in targeted advertising, we will be able to drive down end-user costs. Secured communications are imperative for the development of a better world. By improving features and reducing costs, we can accelerate the adoption of these revolutionary services."

According to Tilo Kunz, MidNet's president and CEO, "Only through application service providers such as Better World Communications will end-users be able to receive advanced communication services. MidNet is excited by the prospects offered by this relationship, and embraces the opportunity to participate in this marketing campaign."
