MarketAxess Announces Monthly Volume Statistics for March 2007

NEW YORK, NY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 5, 2007 -- MarketAxess Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: MKTX), the operator of a leading electronic trading platform for U.S. and European high-grade corporate bonds, emerging markets bonds and other types of fixed income securities, today announced total monthly trading volume for March 2007 of $39.4 billion, consisting of $24.1 billion in U.S. high-grade volume, $9.4 billion in European high-grade volume, and $5.9 billion in other volume.

MarketAxess has also posted trading volume data for March on its website ( Monthly volume updates are posted in the Investor Relations section of the website on or before the tenth business day of each month. The data provide current month and historical volume totals on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
