Marketing A Cause Helps Thirst Project Raise Awareness and Funds for Building Clean-Water Wells in Africa

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - Jun 30, 2011) - On Tuesday, June 28, 2011, celebrities lent a hand to raise awareness and money for the Thirst Project, a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to ending the clean water crisis in developing countries one community at a time.

Seth Maxwell, founder of the Thirst Project, kicked off the 2nd Annual Thirst Gala at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. Each year since its inception the celebrity-filled gala has raised thousands of dollars for the organization.

Celebrities and guests in attendance learned how they could get involved and help provide clean, safe drinking water to individuals in developing countries. In turn, celebrities spread the word to their fans. As a thank you for their support, celebrities walked away with gift bags worth thousands of dollars, which were put together by Marketing A Cause's (www.marketingacause.com) founder Mary Noon.
