Marketing Concepts International (MCCI: PK) Announces That PharmaSpritz Corporation's Pearly Dreams Toothpaste Made the Top of the NY Times Patent List for 2006

TORONTO -- (MARKET WIRE) -- January 8, 2007 -- Marketing Concepts International (PINKSHEETS: MCCI) is pleased to announce that Pearly Dreams Toothpaste, marketed by their client PharmaSpritz Corporation of Delaware in a joint venture partnership with AZ Technologies Ltd, has been selected by the New York Times as one of only two "brilliant" patents published in 2006. The title of the patent chart published in the New York Times on December 10, 2006 is "Some of this Year's patents, scientifically classified from "Yuck" to "Brilliant" and was compiled by Alexandra Horowitz and designed by Daniel Eatock.

In the joint venture partnership agreement, PharmaSpritz Corporation is responsible for the manufacturing and marketing of two AZ Technologies Ltd. products. Both of these toothpaste products (FAST for weight loss, and Pearly Dreams, a sleep inducing formula) are patented by Dr. Arthur Zuckerman, and work through the transmucosal absorption of their clinically recognized herbal ingredients.
