Member of Parliament Jim Eglinski Announces Celebrate Canada Support for Community Organizations


YELLOWHEAD COUNTY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - June 4, 2015) - Department of Canadian Heritage

Fifteen organizations will receive combined funding totalling $33,300 for National Aboriginal Day, Multiculturalism Day and Canada Day celebrations in villages, towns and cities across West-Central Alberta. This support has been provided through the Celebrate Canada program.

Member of Parliament Jim Eglinski (Yellowhead) made this announcement today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.

  • The Department of Canadian Heritage provides funding for activities organized on specific days during the Celebrate Canada period from June 21 to July 1.
