Marquette Group CEO Christopher Cummings Re-Elected Yellow Pages Association Board Chairman

BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ--(Marketwire - June 11, 2010) -  The Yellow Pages Association (YPA) today announced that Christopher Cummings, CEO and equity owner of Marquette Group, has been re-elected chairman of YPA's board of directors.

"YPA's board, which represents more than 400 Yellow Pages industry members worldwide, focuses on industry growth and innovation and communicating the value of a multiplatform portfolio to our advertisers."

Cummings' credentials include more than 25 years of Yellow Pages industry experience. He is also the first YPA chairman to come from one of the Association's certified marketing representative (CMR) member companies. Cummings has served as CEO and equity owner of Marquette Group since purchasing the company in 1996 and was a founding member of the Association of Directory Marketing (ADM) (now the National Marketing Division of the YPA). During his time at ADM, Cummings spent six years as the board chairman.

YPA also elected Scott Klein, CEO of SuperMedia, vice chairman of the board, and elected Scott Pomeroy, president and CEO of Local Insight Media, as secretary-treasurer. Additional director seats include: Kathleen DeCaire-Aden, Wahlstrom; Bill Dinan, Telmetrics; Norm Hagarty, DAC Group; Frank Jules, AT&T Advertising Solutions; George Bednarz, Dex One; Sharon Sweeney, Nationwide Media; Marc Tellier, Yellow Pages Group; Joe Walsh, Yellowbook and Neg Norton, YPA.
