Marriott Hotels & Resorts of Canada's 9th Annual Charity Golf Tournament Gets Set to Tee Off

TORONTO--(Marketwire - May 5, 2011) - Tee-off is fast approaching for the 9^th Annual Marriott Hotels & Resorts of Canada Charity Golf Tournament, in partnership with Children's Miracle Network. Through the dedicated efforts of Marriott Hotels and Resorts of Canada, this fund-raising event has come to be a strong arm of support for The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids).

"Teeing Off for Kids 2011" is set for Thursday, May 26 at the Lionhead Golf & Country Club in Brampton, where there will be plenty of fun throughout the day, beginning with the shotgun start at 1 p.m. The Marriott Family of Chefs, including team members from Toronto entertainment district hotels, will be on hand to provide refreshments throughout the day at on-course food stations, included in registration fees. Evening activities include a 6 p.m. reception and silent auction, followed by a 7 p.m. dinner and live auction. Whether teeing off with other golfers, supporting the event as a sponsor or donating auction items, Marriott Hotels & Resorts of Canada and Children's Miracle Network welcome all types of support in helping to fund life-saving research conducted through the hospital's SickKids program.
