Marshall University Athletics Extends 23-Year Partnership With Paciolan

Partnership Helps Marshall Significantly Increase Season Ticket Sales and Online Renewals

IRVINE, CA and HUNTINGTON, WV--(Marketwire - May 4, 2011) - Paciolan, the leading provider of ticketing, marketing and fundraising solutions in college athletics, announced today that Marshall University Athletics ("Marshall") has extended its partnership with the company. For the past 23 years, Marshall has successfully leveraged Paciolan's ticketing software for Herd Athletics events. Recently, Marshall celebrated its biggest, historical increase in season ticket sales -- more than 65 percent -- from 2009 to 2010. Marshall University has worked with Paciolan since 1988.

"From ticketing to fundraising to marketing, the Paciolan system drives everything we do and has clearly helped us succeed with our athletics initiatives," said Aaron Goebbel, assistant athletic director of ticketing for Marshall University Athletics. "After more than two decades of working together, Paciolan has more than proven to be a great partner that has helped us exceed our goals."

Paciolan's eVenue online ticketing solution provides Marshall with an integrated ecommerce site to efficiently sell tickets in real-time, while managing their brand and customer experience. Working closely with Paciolan's strategic "client partner" team, Marshall is regularly introduced to new ideas and industry best practices, which have helped increase online renewals.

"We increased our season ticket sales by more than 65 percent from 2009 to 2010, making Marshall football one of the leading programs in the country in terms of increased sales," continued Goebbel. "This is in big thanks to the Paciolan system and our client partner who keeps us up to date on the latest industry strategies to help build sales."

Using Paciolan's fundraising solution, Marshall is able to accept and process donations and strengthen its relationships with its current donors via regular communication. Marshall can also target potential donors through various marketing campaigns.

"We're very proud to be continuing our partnership with Marshall University Athletics after 23 years. Marshall truly exemplifies the success that can be achieved by leveraging our ticketing, fundraising and marketing solutions," said David Butler, chief executive officer of Paciolan.
