Martin Methodist College Upgrades Its ERP System by Selecting Three Rivers Systems' CAMS Enterprise

Expects to Increase Productivity by Improving Reporting and Automating Manual Processes

ST. LOUIS, MO--(Marketwired - May 19, 2015) - Martin Methodist College (, a private, four-year liberal arts college located in Pulaski, Tennessee, has selected Three Rivers Systems' CAMS Enterprise as its new enterprise resource planning (ERP) software. Martin Methodist College enrolls 1,000 students and is affiliated with the United Methodist Church.

Martin Methodist's prior student information system, SONISWEB, wasn't able to keep up with the expanded needs of the growing institution. As explained by David Stephens, Martin Methodist's VP of Finance and Administration, "We had achieved a strategic goal of growing our enrollment, and in the process had outgrown the capabilities of our prior student information system. Its reporting capabilities were limited, and getting data out of the system was often a struggle. Even when reports were available, we didn't always trust that they were accurate. This caused us to constantly perform time-consuming, manual checks to ensure that they were correct. We knew there had to be a better way."

To address these needs, Martin Methodist set out on a search for a new system. According to Stephens, there were several items on its wish list. "In addition to upgrading our reporting capabilities and improving access to our data, we wanted a comprehensive system that would meet the needs of all our constituents -- students, faculty, and staff. We also wanted a system that would be easy to use so that our users would readily adopt the system. It was important to us that we start reaping the benefits of our investment as soon as possible."

Stephens noted that Martin Methodist found what it was seeking when it selected CAMS Enterprise. "CAMS Enterprise hit the sweet spot for us based on its functionality and value. It's an integrated, all-in-one system with a single source of truth, so we can rely on the accuracy of its reporting output. With its built-in business analytics capabilities, we can perform advanced analysis to help us make data-driven decisions. And its Degree Audit and Student Risk modules will enhance our institutional priority around helping students succeed. Just as important, Three Rivers Systems is a strong partner that will support our needs as we continue to evolve in the future."

Amir Tajkarimi, founder and president of Three Rivers Systems, welcomed Martin Methodist College to the CAMS Community. "Martin Methodist has a distinguished history dating back to 1870, but what's even more impressive is its focus on the future. It is committed to meeting the educational, spiritual, social, and cultural needs of the south central Tennessee region, and its students receive a superior college education through a robust program of baccalaureate offerings. Martin Methodist is a uniquely compelling institution with high aspirations, and we're excited to play a role in its future success."
