NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Apr 12, 2012) - Big Beat recording artist Martin Solveig has announced the release of his explosive new EP. "THE NIGHT OUT" is available now at all leading digital retailers.

The new EP heralds the world-renowned French DJ/producer's eagerly awaited sets at the upcoming Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indio, California. Solveig -- who just wrapped a major US tour -- will be appearing on Saturday, April 14th and Saturday, April 21st.

Solveig has earned rave reviews in recent weeks for his work as one of the primary producers of Madonna's blockbuster new album, "MDNA." Among his contributions to the acclaimed collection -- which just debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 and album charts worldwide -- are tracks like "Beautiful Killer" (inspired by Solveig and Madonna's mutual passion for Jean-Pierre Melville's classic crime thriller, Le Samouraï) and the hit single, "Give Me All Your Luvin' (Feat. The EP also includes the previously unreleased "SMASH" version of "Can't Stop," featuring Solveig's frequent collaborators, Canadian electropop combo Dragonette.

"The Night Out" follows Solveig's prior "SMASH" single, "Big In Japan," which was featured on HBO's hit series, How To Make It In America. "SMASH" will be further highlighted by Solveig's worldwide hit, "Hello," has proven a true phenomenon both here and abroad.
