Mary Jean Anderson From Anderson Plumbing, Heating and Air Named San Diego Woman Who Means Business

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwired - Nov 20, 2013) -  San Diego heating, air conditioning and plumbing experts Anderson Plumbing, Heating and Air announced that president and owner Mary Jean Anderson was named one of San Diego's 2013 Women Who Mean Business by the San Diego Business Journal at a recent event held at the Town and Country Resort and Convention Center.

As part of the San Diego Business Journal's Women Who Mean Business 20^th Anniversary Celebration, there were 160 finalists and 40 honorees. The award recognizes achievements in local business as well as contributions to the community.

Anderson was recognized for being a successful woman owned business in the male dominated field of plumbing, heating and air. In particular, Anderson Plumbing Heating and Air was named National Contractor of the Year by the Plumbing Heating Cooling Contractors Association this past year. She is also known for her generosity toward those in need and the Anderson Random Acts of Plumbing Heating and Air. Further, she was cited for being a role model and helping others in the industry.
