Mary Jean Anderson, President of Anderson Plumbing Heating and Air, Named 2012 National Contractor of the Year by Plumbing Heating Cooling Contractors (PHCC) Association

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwire - Oct 23, 2012) - The National Plumbing Heating Cooling Contractors Association (PHCC) named Mary Jean Anderson, president of San Diego-based Anderson Plumbing Heating and Air as the PHCC/Delta Faucet Company John Eberhardt Contractor of the Year at an awards ceremony hosted by the Connect 2012 industry conference in Philadelphia.

According to the PHCC, Mary Jean Anderson was recognized for her superior business ethics, diverse marketing and advertising skills, ability to utilize new technology in innovative ways and commitment to raising breast cancer awareness. With more than 34 years of experience serving the San Diego community, Anderson has been recognized locally as an industry leader for many years. A family-owned business, the company has been a member of the local PHCC chapter for more than 30 years.

Currently, Mary Jean's daughter, Kelly Anderson, Call Center Manager at Anderson, is serving as president of the PHCC San Diego chapter. Kelly follows in her father's footsteps, Walter Anderson, who served as president of the PHCC San Diego Chapter in the early '90s.

The Contractor of the Year Award was named after John Eberhardt, former Senior Vice-President of Sales and Marketing at Delta Faucet. During his 30-year tenure with Delta Faucet Company, Eberhardt was a leading driver behind the relationship between PHCC and Delta.
