Massachusetts Senator Scott Brown Concludes Visit to Implant Sciences

U.S. Senator Tours American Manufacturer of Homeland Security Equipment

WILMINGTON, MA--(Marketwire - Apr 28, 2011) - Implant Sciences Corporation (OTCQB: IMSC) (PINKSHEETS: IMSC), a high technology supplier of systems and sensors for homeland security markets, today announced that U.S. Senator Scott Brown concluded a successful visit with the company on Wednesday, April 27th.

Senator Brown toured the facilities of the Massachusetts based, American Manufacturer of ion mobility spectrometry explosives trace detection systems. The Senator met with management and the company's Board of Directors. He also answered questions from company employees. Implant Sciences is responsible for 50 jobs in Massachusetts and sells its explosives trace detection equipment worldwide.

Implant Sciences had the opportunity to discuss trade and global competitiveness with Senator Brown, who is a member of the Senate Committee on Homeland Security as well as a member of the U.S. National Guard.
