FARMINGTON HILLS, MI--(Marketwire - Jul 10, 2012) - Massage Green, a green friendly affordable franchise chain of spas, announced it has signed Chuck Thomas, a veteran franchisee in the food industry, as a Massage Green franchisee in St. Clair Shores, MI. This is in addition to the planned opening of nine additional corporate units in Metro Detroit in 2012, bringing the number of Michigan Massage Green units to 15 for the rapidly growing chain.
Allie Mallad, a former largest Little Caesar's franchise operator and founder of Massage Green, announced the expansion plan from the company's Regional Headquarters Office here, adding that the company expects to hire 500 employees in the State of Michigan alone.
Thomas, a successful franchisee in Metro Detroit for Chicken Shack, will be the franchisee for St. Clair Shores.
According to Mallad, each new Michigan unit prior to opening will offer consumers an opportunity to be one of the first 500 consumers to be a member of the new spa enabling them to a year's worth of $29.95 one hour massage sessions.
Besides the aggressive Michigan growth plans, there are Massage Green franchise units in Jacksonville, FL, Texas, California and plans for 1,000 nationally within eight years. Each Massage Green unit will employ some 20-30 persons per spa.
